John has had an extremely varied background, coming originally from England and living in India and Hawaii before moving to Canada. He returned to England to get his CA designation and has since worked in England, Canada, and the Bahamas. The three years he spent in the Bahamas, providing support for multiple entities, solidified his passion for running his own business, and when he returned to Canada, he opened his own accounting firm. He moved back to Ontario in 2015 to be with his current wife after selling his accounting practice, and determined that IG Wealth Management offers the best financial planning in Canada, which is the direction that he decided best matches his skill set.
